Quick answer
First define one sellable unit: a piece, pair, set or pack. Then give every color, size or compatible model its own row with the exact code, dimensions or fit range, stated material, contents, quantity, packaging and current status.
Define the unit before counting anything
A catalog may show one item, a pair, a multipack or a display set without making the selling unit obvious. Write “one unit equals…” beside every candidate. For wholesale socks, confirm whether the number refers to a single sock, a pair or a multipair pack. For wholesale jewelry, separate one piece, a pair of earrings and a coordinated set.
This definition controls quantity, price basis, packing and QC. Without it, two rows that look comparable may represent very different amounts of product.
Replace “one size” with a usable range
Wholesale hats and wholesale caps need circumference range, adjustment method, crown or brim context and the measurement unit. Wholesale belts need total length, usable hole range, width and buckle dimensions. Wholesale rings and bracelets need an actual sizing system or internal measurement.
Record the object being measured and where the measurement begins. A product laid beside a ruler is useful only when the relevant start and end points are visible.
Use a different micro-check for each accessory
| Accessory group | High-value evidence | Frequent ambiguity |
|---|---|---|
| Wholesale sunglasses and eyewear | Frame width, lens dimensions, bridge, temple length, included case and published specification. | Photos scaled to different model faces. |
| Wholesale scarves | Length, width, edge finishing, material wording and folding or packing method. | Display drape hiding actual dimensions. |
| Wholesale necklaces and bracelets | Total and usable length, fastening range, clasp, component count and set definition. | Chain extender or charm shown but not included. |
| Wholesale phone cases | Exact compatible model, openings, material wording and package contents. | One image covering several incompatible models. |
| Wholesale wallets | Closed and open dimensions, compartments, closure, material context and boxed form. | Exterior size used as usable interior capacity. |
Keep material, finish and compliance claims separate
Store the source’s exact material wording and any stated finish without upgrading it. A color photo cannot confirm composition, plating, coating durability, lens performance or skin suitability. If a claim affects the decision or destination requirements, request the appropriate current documentation from the responsible party.
Product certification and regulatory compliance require evidence from a qualified source. Mark the claim as unresolved until that evidence is available.
Turn a mixed assortment into explicit rows
| Code | Option | Unit definition | Quantity | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Exact source code | Color, size or compatible model | Piece / pair / set / pack | Units for this row | Requested / confirmed / substituted |
Wholesale accessories can look inexpensive until a minimum applies to every color or style. Keep the proposed order, the minimum-adjusted order and any substitution as separate versions. The MOQ guide provides a fuller quantity test.
Inspect fastening points and included parts
Small missing components can make an accessory unusable. Check clasps, hinges, screws, pins, adjustment hardware, closures, replacement pieces and packaging. The evidence should show the selected model rather than a generic promotional arrangement.
- The complete unit or set is shown together.
- Dimensions and fit range have units.
- Color and compatible model match the selected row.
- Fastening points are visible from a useful angle.
- Included cases, pouches or spare parts are named.
Choose a QC sample across the assortment
When many related options are present, do not assume one sample proves every variant. Prioritize the rows with different construction, fit, compatibility or component count. Record which QC set supports which row and which variants remain image-only catalog leads.
A fashion accessories supplier claim on a page does not verify the party or the items. Keep identity, source and transaction checks separate from the product comparison.
Write an accessory inquiry that fits on one screen
Send the exact source, codes and quantity rows, then ask one shared question and one exception only if needed. For example, confirm whether the MOQ can mix published colors and whether the stated dimensions apply to the finished product or its package. Avoid attaching an unlabelled collage.
